Resource Library for Doulas
Wellness Within and NSPIRG have created a resource library for doulas to borrow books that will enhance their knowledge of pregnancy, birth, and the experience of doulas. We have received books by donation from Wellness Within members as well as sourced books that can further doula education by finding the DONA certification required readings at this library.
The library is located at the Chebucto Family Centre and doulas can reach out by email to doula@chebuctofamilycentre.ca to borrow books.
There is a sign-out sheet for each book that details the date you borrowed, your name and number if anyone needs to reach you concerning the book. Please be respectful of the other doulas looking to access this resource and return books in a timely manner. When you return the book, write in the sign-out binder the day that the book was returned to the library.
