On CBC's Information morning talking about Chantal Moore and the police

Our aim is to advance reproductive justice and reproductive justice means safety from state violence, that your mum and your kids and your family will be safe without the risk of being killed by the police.

What isn’t categorically disturbing about the violence that she experienced? A young woman far from home living in New Brunswick who needs care and is killed. It’s a damning indictment of how far we have misdistributed our public thoughts, our public funds, our public care.

Police violence against Black women, Indigenous women, women is out of control.

This is not about individuals (police), this is a systems issue. We have a system that is a problem.

We’re calling for the abolition of the police. We hope that similar initiatives.
